CURRICULUM

Franz Barachini received his MSc. and PhD. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Vienna. After his sabbatical as an invited Guest Researcher at the Stanford University he was guest professor at the University of Klagenfurt. Today he is Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Technical University in Vienna and lecturer in business management, process management, leadership and strategic management in different education programs of Business Universities.

He published more than 48 papers in real-time and expert systems. His main research interest today is innovation management & knowledge management where he published two books :

He was national chairperson of the International Conference of Knowledge Management in Vienna 2007.

Franz Barachini was working in different management levels of companies (CEO/CIO/department head) belongig to the telecom/IT industry and banks. He was head of an international research group.

Today his main business is management consulting in process management, knowledge management, innovation management & strategy. He is the founder of BIC-Austria http://www.bic-austria.at a consulting company concentrating on business management issues.
